Bold yet warm, this slab serif was designed to mark important moments with both unmistakable presence and genuine friendliness. Graduation Academy, created by Funtype Co., combines thick geometric serifs with subtly rounded corners that soften the severity without sacrificing strength. It occupies that rare space between academic formality and honest approachability.

It performs best in applications where visual weight and personality both matter equally: graduation invitations and formal ceremony programs, bold school event t-shirts for teams or classes, custom tumbler graphics and merchandise, and hand-lettered achievement certificates or diplomas. The heavy letterforms remain crisp and legible at any size, from large classroom posters to small product labels, because the generous proportions and open letter counters prevent any loss of character or clarity. This dependable, structured presence works equally well for digital display and printed collateral.

When a project requires secondary typography support, Graduation Academy pairs beautifully with a clean, modern sans-serif to create contrast and maintain strong legibility, especially when you're layering headers with body text or small support labels. The slab serif commands immediate attention and weight, while the sans preserves clarity and contemporary polish.
