Ghost Type by Set Sail Studios is a bold, angular script font with genuine character and an unapologetic edge. Built for designers who want lettering that feels hand-crafted without the hand-crafting labor, it brings authenticity to identity work, packaging design, and display typography where personality matters most. From indie beauty brands to event tickets and book cover designs, Ghost Type delivers that custom-lettered look when budget or timeline won't allow the real thing.

The font comes as a complete system. The main Ghost Type file offers uppercase and lowercase letters with an extensive character set including punctuation, numerals, and support for multiple languages. Ghost Type Alt provides alternate lowercase letters with additional swashes at the beginning, middle, or end positions, giving you control over how letterforms interact within words. A separate swash companion file contains six hand-drawn flourishes designed to work as accents or underlines, perfect for highlighting key moments in your layouts.

All the alternate characters and swashes live in the Stylistic Alternates and Discretionary Ligatures features, accessible through your font menu in design software. This thoughtful organization means you get creative flexibility without overwhelming the standard glyph set. Get Ghost Type on Creative Fabrica to start bringing sharper personality to your next project.
