Imagine laying out a wedding invitation suite and realizing you need a typeface that feels both contemporary and romantic without veering into overly ornate territory. Gangnam, designed by erik studio, is a thin, tall sans-serif that hits exactly that balance. Its elongated proportions and smooth character forms make it work beautifully for everything from formal invitation card design to high-impact Instagram graphics where you need a font that catches the eye while remaining legible at smaller sizes and powerful when scaled up on screen.

The font really shines on fashion brand logos and boutique product packaging, where its refined geometry reads as modern luxury without any heavy-handed approach. Blog headers, seasonal greeting cards, and quirky social branding projects all benefit from its contemporary character and distinctive light touch. The thin weight gives it inherent elegance, and that extended height creates natural visual interest when you're setting shorter passages or designing display headlines. Because it works across such a surprising range of applications without ever feeling out of place or too narrow for the task, it becomes a smart choice for designers who need flexibility. Pick it up on Creative Fabrica and start working it into your next set of projects.
