While watching the Three Stooges 1937 comedy short “3 Dumb Clucks”, a location shot revealed a sign saying “Distributors for Bigelow Weavers” in an Art Deco sans serif design.

This prompted the design of the digital typeface of that lettering called Furnishings JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

For those not familiar, Bigelow is a manufacturer of carpets.
