You're designing custom labels for a boutique skincare line when you realize the typeface needs to capture the hand-made aesthetic of the brand itself. Freak Chicken, designed by Dani at 7NTypes, is exactly that kind of playful script font where every letter feels intentional and expressive.

This font works particularly well for product packaging labels on artisan goods, wedding invitation suites that need warmth over formality, DIY craft project signage that demands attention, and gift tags where hand-drawn charm is the entire point. The extensive alternate characters mean you can swap individual letterforms to create visual variety and avoid the monotony of repeated shapes. When you're setting longer blocks of text, this flexibility becomes essential. Knowing you have alternates on hand lets you adjust the rhythm and feel of every line without swapping typefaces.

The eccentric character of this typeface really comes alive at larger sizes, where the quirky curves and unconventional shapes become the star of the show. Once you start exploring the alternates, you'll discover just how much personality this font can bring to your work. Each swap changes the mood slightly, letting you fine-tune your designs. Grab it from Creative Fabrica whenever you need a script that delivers character and visual interest.
