DJB Geordie Girl is a handwritten script typeface by Darcy Baldwin of djbfontography, designed with the casual, friendly charm that authentic pen-and-paper lettering brings to design. With 362 glyphs and support for over 280 Latin-based languages, this script captures the natural flow of genuine handwriting while remaining practical for a wide range of applications. The loose letterforms and organic rhythm make it feel like someone sat down and wrote the words by hand, creating an immediate sense of warmth, personality, and authentic connection with your audience.

This typeface excels in applications where a personal human touch matters most: hand-lettered greeting cards and birthday invitations gain their natural charm from its informal energy, while handmade journal covers and personalized scrapbooking layouts benefit from the same approachable personality. It works beautifully in casual signage, personal correspondence, and DIY craft projects where a human hand feels more genuine and trustworthy than a formal typeface. Many small business owners and independent makers choose scripts like this for product labels, packaging, and branding that needs to communicate authenticity and care.

The typeface is free for personal use only, with commercial licenses available directly from the designer. DJB Geordie Girl is best suited to projects where warmth and genuine character matter more than polish, bringing the honesty of real handwriting to any design that calls for a softer, more human touch.
