Imagine designing a vintage apothecary label with hand-lettered detail, or crafting a nautical-themed package that feels genuinely handmade. Derphace, created by Edignwn Type, is a script font collection inspired by the authentic hand-lettered typefaces found on old product labels and vintage ephemera. It ships with four distinct variations (regular, rounded, rough, and stamp), each bringing its own personality to your work.

This font works well for vintage product packaging, nautical branding and signage, custom t-shirt and merchandise design, and decorative stamp-based badges or label work. The collection includes both a flowing script variant and a supporting serif option, which opens up real possibilities for layering typography in your compositions. You're also getting 26 hand-drawn illustrations as dingbats, meaning you have complementary graphic elements ready to go without needing to hunt for them elsewhere.

Derphace supports multiple languages and comes in both .ttf and .otf formats, making it workable across whatever design software you reach for. The rough and stamp variations especially shine at larger sizes, delivering that printed, hand-stamped quality that feels genuinely vintage. The serif option adds welcome versatility if you need a more traditional counterpoint to the script's flow.
