Picture yourself designing autumn packaging or fall greeting cards, and you want the lettering to carry the seasonal mood. Dear Scarecrow, created by Illustration Ink, is a full-color font brimming with warm autumn tones and detailed leaf and mushroom motifs embedded into each character. The palette shifts gently across the alphabet, creating a naturally varied, hand-drawn feel.

What makes this SVG color font special is the built-in alternate versions. Every letter has a second color variation tucked into your character map, so you can toggle between them to add visual interest to harvest festival posters, pumpkin patch signage, craft product labels, or DIY autumn decor pieces. The font displays in full color within Adobe products, Inkscape, and Quark. In programs without color font support, text will render as black, so testing beforehand prevents surprises.

Because Dear Scarecrow is vector-based, the letterforms stay crisp and sharp whether you're using it for large headlines or small-scale applications. The alternate characters are your real asset: swap them in for dimension without needing multiple files. Grab it from Creative Fabrica and start bringing authentic autumn energy to your designs.
