A small book entitled “Portfolio of Alphabet Designs for Artists, Architects, Designers & Craftsmen” [published in 1938 by Irene K. Ames] contained a number of pages displaying hand lettered alphabet examples.
One sample in particular stood out for its bold Art Deco look and unusual design.
This is now available as Dance Moderne JNL, in both regular and oblique versions.
