Picture yourself designing a delicate wedding invitation suite, reaching for a typeface that feels genuinely written by hand rather than digitally sterile or mass-produced. Costar Oliya, designed by Khaidir at Gatype, delivers exactly that warm, approachable script quality that reads with both character and authenticity.

This handwritten script works beautifully for refined applications where authentic hand-lettered feel and personality genuinely matter to the final design outcome. You'll find it shines particularly well on boutique skincare packaging labels, bespoke stationery suites, artisan candle branding, and custom monogram designs for personalized goods. The flowing letterforms handle the Latin-based character set across 216+ languages, so your designs travel globally without sacrificing that signature handwritten charm and warmth.

When you're setting Costar Oliya at larger display sizes like headers, logos, or decorative signage, make sure to give yourself more generous line spacing than you'd typically expect from a regular sans serif typeface. This breathing room lets the script's natural flow shine beautifully without individual characters feeling too cramped or tangled together.
