College Draft by wtl.typography is a bold slab serif with a handmade, marker-drawn character that captures retro varsity energy in every letterform. The substantial block serifs and chunky strokes give it immediate presence on a page, while its casual, sketched quality keeps things from feeling corporate or overly formal. Real personality lives in the typeface, a purposeful roughness that comes through even at smaller sizes and reminds you it was drawn by hand, not calculated in software. This intentional irregularity becomes part of the charm.

Use it for college sports graphics and athletic branding, vintage-style team apparel designs, retro varsity letter patches, and promotional athletic event posters where you need visual impact without pretension. The handwritten DNA also makes it surprisingly effective for yearbook headlines, DIY craft signage, nostalgic school publication covers, and vintage sports merchandise labeling. Its boldness cuts through noise when you need readers to stop and look, yet the slightly imperfect, hand-drawn character prevents it from reading as cold or aggressive. You get genuine strength paired with real approachability, which is rare in display fonts at this weight and boldness level.
