Cithally by Gatype is a handwritten script with a sharp, textured edge that comes from being drawn with a coarse brush on paper. The grain and movement in every stroke give it distinctive character without feeling precious or overwrought, and the overall effect sits right in that sweet spot between spontaneous and controlled. You get multiple style variations for each lowercase letter, so you can swap between alternates when the same character appears twice in a row and build in genuine variety without relying on repetition or looking forced.

This font works particularly well for hand-drawn logo designs, personalized stationery suites, restaurant menu cards, and boutique beauty packaging where that handmade quality actually matters. Pairing it alongside serif fonts creates visual hierarchy and contrast within the same design. The handwritten feel gives your work an authentic sense of craft that digital typefaces tend to lose. Since it reads as genuinely written rather than computationally rendered, it's particularly effective from wedding invitations to DIY brand identity projects where that human touch is the goal.

Grab Cithally on Creative Fabrica to start experimenting with how the alternates let you build natural rhythm into your headlines and branding work.
