This script radiates pure nostalgia blended with the genuine charm of childish handwriting. Childisko, created by Keithzo from 7NTypes, captures that handwritten quality from the 70s era, back when typography was more about personality than perfection.

The font shines in vintage branding projects where you need to signal that period aesthetic, retro concert posters and event designs that demand personality, greeting card suites with real heart, and craft product labels where authenticity matters above all. Since it's fully vector-compatible (SVG-ready and Cricut-compatible), you can scale it up for large format work or down for small sticker designs without losing that hand-drawn character. It handles sublimation projects beautifully too, where you need that nostalgic warmth to actually come through on the finished piece. The playful letterforms carry weight even when they're sized quite small, making it a solid choice for vintage fashion merchandise, boutique apparel, educational posters, and DIY craft projects.

Pair Childisko thoughtfully with a straightforward geometric sans-serif for body text or smaller descriptive elements, and the contrast between playful and practical will make your designs feel more intentional and balanced overall.
