Childhood is a handwritten script typeface created by Frances Jimenez that captures the spontaneous, unpolished charm of natural penmanship and everyday hand-drawn writing. With 121 glyphs and support for 104+ Latin-based languages, this font delivers authentic character to any creative project where designers and makers want to communicate something genuinely personal rather than machine-generated or corporate in feeling.

The script performs beautifully across a diverse range of applications. Picture it adorning custom greeting cards and thank-you notes that recipients will treasure, handwritten-style social media graphics and story covers designed to arrest scrollers, children's book pages and educational worksheets that engage young readers with genuine warmth, or hand-lettered decals and vinyl projects cut on craft machines to create unique, personalized keepsakes. The typeface's informal personality communicates sincerity and human connection while maintaining enough legibility to function effectively as both display headlines and secondary accent text in layouts that prioritize authenticity over precision or polish.

Free for personal use only, with commercial licensing available directly from the designer. Childhood belongs in handmade, heartfelt creative projects where warmth, character, and authenticity matter more than formal design trends.
