Chelina by creativetacos is a chunky slab serif that brings genuine warmth and character to modern design work. Built on clean proportions with substantial letterforms, this font strikes a satisfying balance between approachable and commanding in the way contemporary slab serifs should function when executed thoughtfully.

Weight and personality translate beautifully across restaurant menu covers, wine label designs, and bold social media headers where both approachability and confidence matter equally. That generous letterform structure holds readability at any scale, performing just as well on cosmetic brand labels as it does on display-sized headlines. You get the contemporary edge here without sacrificing clarity, which is harder to achieve than it sounds in practice.

What distinguishes Chelina from retro pastiche is the restraint woven throughout its design. No unnecessary flourishes or dated quirks that might age poorly, just geometry that feels honest and substantial. Pair it with a clean sans serif for visual contrast, or give it the lead role in a layout all on its own. This kind of visual heft carries enough character that it rarely needs additional company to feel complete. Grab Chelina on Creative Fabrica and discover what it brings to your next project.
