You're hand-lettering the envelopes for a wedding invitation suite, and you need something that feels genuinely handwritten while still being readable at both small and large sizes. Challis Burton, designed by Perkasya Akram, is a script font that captures that organic, pen-drawn quality without sacrificing legibility across varied design projects.

The flowing letterforms work particularly well for embroidery digitizing, watercolor label design, vintage branding work, and boutique product packaging on Etsy and similar platforms. Because the strokes maintain their character at different scales, you can use it for envelope calligraphy just as easily as magazine pull quotes, motivational graphics, or event announcements. The handlettered quality gives each letter genuine personality, so layouts feel considered rather than generic or rushed. The font includes multiple alternates, letting you shift between letterforms when you're setting longer passages or when stacking text lines for layered effects.

Load Challis Burton into Canva, Procreate, or your standard design software and watch how it pairs with illustrations, florals, watercolor backgrounds, and textured layers. The consistent weight keeps things from looking scattered or chaotic even when you're working with lots of type on the page. Get it from Creative Fabrica and keep it as a regular part of your toolkit.
