Cavéllo by xdCreative is a contemporary slab serif that balances geometric precision with soft, rounded curves that feel surprisingly warm and inviting. This typeface works beautifully across the applications designers actually care about: luxury cosmetics labels and high-end skincare packaging, restaurant menu headers and wine list design, upscale fashion lookbooks, custom wedding invitation suites, and boutique product branding where personality truly matters. The rounded letterforms bring character to a category that many geometric slab serifs approach too coldly, making Cavéllo especially effective when you need a typeface that reads as both modern and genuinely approachable without sacrificing refinement.

The family spans three distinct styles (uprights, italics, and obliques) across four weights from light to bold. This gives you real typographic flexibility and control. You can build proper hierarchy from delicate headlines through supporting body copy in print without reaching for a second typeface family. Brand work for a boutique spa, custom stationery design, motion graphics, or web and print settings all feel natural with Cavéllo. The typeface holds onto its distinctive character as you move between contexts and weights, which is rarer than it should be among slab serif families.
