Picture yourself designing a greeting card that needs to pop off the shelf, or creating custom merchandise labels for a small business looking to stand out. Cattail, designed by JUSTTYPE, is a color font built with genuine personality and playful energy. Its multi-colored OpenType-SVG format brings instant visual impact to projects where flat, single-color type simply won't do the job.

This typeface shines across wedding invitation suites, children's book designs, handmade product packaging, and DIY craft signage. The built-in color palette eliminates the tedious work of manual coloring or layering effects, saving you significant time on every project. Works across Photoshop, Illustrator, Silhouette, and Inkscape without requiring extra steps or workarounds. One important detail: the OTF and TTF files aren't compatible with Cricut, though the color font format itself opens possibilities across many design applications beyond that tool.

What makes Cattail practical for real work is how the colors render boldly and clearly at any size you choose. This means it works equally well for large display applications and smaller print pieces. The playful character of the design adds genuine warmth to invitations, packaging, and creative signage without feeling forced or overly cute.
