Thick, rounded slab serifs that seem to dance across the page: this is Cartoon Smiling, a playful font from designer Letterayu. The letterforms have an energetic, hand-drawn bounce that feels warm rather than cold, making it work just as well on a printed page as on screen. Chunky proportions give each character real personality, and the whole family has that marker-pen spontaneity that makes kids light up.

This font shines for kids' birthday party invitations, scrapbook page headers, and those custom Cricut sticker designs that end up everywhere in a maker's toolkit. It works equally well for planner stickers, DIY activity worksheets, and DIY craft labels. If you're designing a children's book cover for KDP or a playful classroom poster, this one delivers the warmth and charm you need without feeling forced or overly cutesy. Teachers and parents love it for anything meant to catch young eyes.

The SVG-ready design means it cuts cleanly and prints sharp at any size, from digital prints to cutting machines. For designers and creatives who work with young audiences or create products for the kids' market, this font delivers exactly what you need. Grab it on Creative Fabrica and watch it become an instant go-to in your growing font collection.
