You're laying out your holiday greeting cards and need a script that feels both festive and refined. Buttermilk, designed by Inermedia STUDIO, gives you exactly that balance: a decorative handwritten typeface with genuine character without veering into overly precious territory. The brush-like strokes and flowing curves maintain legibility across sizes, whether displayed large or set in smaller supporting roles.

This script excels for holiday greeting card suites, custom gift labels, wedding invitation ensembles, and seasonal event posters. The letterforms have enough personality to hold their own as display headlines while remaining readable in body text and accent applications. Each letter connects naturally, creating a flow that feels hand-drawn rather than mechanical. Since it's PUA coded, you can access all the glyphs and alternate letterforms directly without hunting through character panels or reference sheets.

At large display sizes, the font reads crisp and clean, making it ideal for packaging, signage, and promotional banner work. The varied letter shapes and flowing connections keep repeated text from feeling dull or static. You can apply Buttermilk to a cohesive brand identity, seasonal merchandise designs, or one-off creative projects: it brings that handcrafted warmth that genuinely resonates with viewers.
