Butterfly is a handwritten script font where flowing strokes and bouncy letterforms create a sense of movement and energy on the page. Designed by erik studio, this contemporary calligraphy offers genuine fluidity paired with a friendly, approachable feel that resonates with audiences. The smooth, rounded characters have a natural bounce that adapts well across different sizes, remaining legible in small applications and commanding attention when enlarged for headlines or poster work.

This font works beautifully for wedding invitation suites, hand-lettered greeting card designs, and DIY vinyl cutting projects where the letterforms bring personality and visual clarity. Branding for boutique fashion labels and contemporary lifestyle retailers gains authenticity and warmth from Butterfly's balance of elegance and informality. Instagram story graphics and social media headers capitalize on its sense of movement, while custom logo work finds character and distinction in how each letter carries its own visual weight. The contemporary sensibility keeps Butterfly from feeling precious or overly formal, allowing it to sit comfortably alongside sans-serif and serif typefaces in layered, modern design work without seeming out of place.

Best suited to designers and crafters who prioritize personality and warmth in invitations, packaging, and brand identities, Butterfly is available on Creative Fabrica.
