You're designing vacation postcards for a small stationery shop, and you need a font that feels handmade without looking clumsy. Butter Summer, designed by ArtLine Design, is a handwritten script that brings that homemade warmth to holiday marketing materials, birthday invitations, and seasonal branding work.

The font's most distinctive feature is how its characters playfully bounce along the baseline, creating movement and energy without sacrificing readability. This makes it work particularly well for Instagram post graphics, custom Etsy product labels, and DIY craft signage. The letterforms have a rounded, friendly quality that reads clearly even at smaller sizes, though the font truly shines when used large for headers and display purposes. For family reunion save-the-dates or boutique bakery menus, the casual rhythm of the typeface keeps compositions from feeling stiff.

Butter Summer comes as a single weight, which keeps your file sizes manageable while giving you enough character to make simple designs feel polished. Pair it with a clean sans serif for body copy, or use it solo for that emphasis you need on announcement cards, seasonal gift tags, or handwritten-style social media graphics. The accessibility of the design means it pairs easily with both vintage and modern aesthetic work. Grab it on Creative Fabrica and add that homemade character to your next project.
