Butter Cake, designed by PAYJHOshop, is a handwritten script that captures the relaxed confidence of brush lettering without sacrificing readability. The loose, flowing letterforms have a casual energy while maintaining enough structure to work across different scales and applications. Each letter feels genuinely hand-drawn rather than algorithmically produced, giving the font a consistently natural, approachable quality.

This font works particularly well on wedding invitation suites where its personality stands out from standard alternatives, cosmetic and skincare packaging that needs a welcoming feel, display headers for fashion lookbooks, and greeting card designs that benefit from an informal touch. The letterforms read clearly at headline sizes and remain legible when scaled down, so you can use it flexibly across varied layouts. The script pairs nicely with photography or stands alone on solid backgrounds, translating well both on screen and in print materials.

Butter Cake suits designers and makers who want real character without tipping into decorative excess or forced trends. Small creative studios, boutique brands, event planners crafting custom stationery, and anyone producing social media graphics will find it practical and dependable.
