Imagine lettering a greeting card by hand but wanting the consistency and repeatability of a proper typeface. Butside, designed by ArtLine Design, is a handwritten script that captures that sketched, personal quality while remaining functional across different projects. The letters have a gentle sway that prevents them from feeling stiff or mechanical, and each character appears as if drawn with real intention.

You can use Butside for wedding invitation suites where handmade feeling is essential, on social media graphics for brands that want personality over polish, or on boutique product labels for everything from artisan candles to letterpress stationery. DIY craft signs also benefit from its flowing baseline, which maintains clarity at large display sizes without sacrificing the handwritten character. The movement in the letterforms adds an approachable, warm quality that many standard fonts simply cannot match. Because the script carries enough regularity beneath its playful surface, it works equally well in both headlines and body copy without any strain.

Butside comes with good coverage for everyday use, and that baseline variation is what gives it character and life on the page. Grab this script on Creative Fabrica to bring the hand-drawn feeling to your next project.
