Picture yourself laying out a vintage concert poster or punk band merchandise and searching for a typeface with raw 1970s energy and weathered edges. Broken Feeling by Darman of 7NTypes delivers exactly what you need. This slab-serif display font merges the chunky, authoritative weight of classic signage with thoughtful distressing and surface texture that feels authentically aged rather than superficially worn.

The typeface thrives on vinyl record cover design, craft brewery branding and label work, distressed wedding invitations and stationery suites, and grunge-influenced zine and magazine headers. It brings genuine character to band poster work, retro product packaging, sports apparel logos, and bold social media artwork. What sets it apart is how the texture lives built into the letterforms themselves rather than layered on top. At large display sizes, you get immediate visual impact and that gritty presence without needing additional effects, while smaller sizing still holds its personality and remains legible. The weight carries through every character, making even minimal, intentional layouts feel grounded and substantial. It's a workhorse font for anyone building a vintage aesthetic.

Pick up Broken Feeling on Creative Fabrica and bring that raw, authentic vintage strength to your next creative project.
