You're laying out a greeting card or kids' birthday invitation, and you want that playful pop without manually coloring every letter. Big Dots, designed by JUSTTYPE, delivers exactly that: a color font where the spots are baked into each letterform, pre-colored and ready to go.

This works beautifully for greeting card suites, Etsy product labels, DIY craft signage, and playful sticker sheet designs. The dots give each letter a handmade, friendly quality without any rough edges or that overly polished feeling. Because it's built as an OpenType-SVG color font, the colors render automatically in Photoshop, Illustrator, Silhouette, and Inkscape. The OTF files work natively in these programs, so setup is straightforward. If you work with Cricut, this format has some limitations worth knowing about upfront, so the font guide has tips for working around them.

The dots really shine at large display sizes, making Big Dots a strong choice for headers and focal design points where you want visual impact. The built-in color palette means less time adjusting fills and more time creating. Each letter's dots land consistently, so stacked text or multi-line compositions feel cohesive. Find Big Dots on Creative Fabrica to add it to your toolkit for playful, colorful projects.
