Basting Brush is a handwritten script font by Stripes Studio that captures the natural flow and organic rhythm of confident brushstroke letterforms. The characters have that loose, authentic quality you get when someone writes quickly with intention, neither stiff nor over-refined. The letterforms dance across the baseline with a relaxed bounce that feels personal without losing readability.

This works beautifully for wedding invitation suites where that handmade quality sets the right tone, artisanal food packaging that demands authenticity, handmade product labels for Etsy sellers, and intimate greeting card designs where you want the reader to feel the writer's hand. Small menu boards at a café benefit from this too. The Regular weight keeps things legible at multiple sizes while never sacrificing the handwritten charm. The font supports 216+ languages with Latin-based character sets, which means you can use it across most Western markets and international projects without hunting for alternatives.

Pair it with a quiet sans-serif for any body text or supporting elements, letting the script take center stage as display and accent work. Try it in larger sizes where the brushstroke character really sings. The free personal-use demo is available here, and the full commercial version with a Creative Fabrica license is ready when you need it for client work.
