Bask in Sunshine by Denise Chandler is a hand-drawn color font that channels pure 80s and 90s vibes through its funky, rough letterforms. The built-in color palette brings instant personality to every headline you set, and the PUA encoding gives you full access to all the glyphs and swashes without digging through panels. When your software supports OpenType features, automatic ligatures and catchwords trigger themselves, layering extra visual richness and character into your display text.

This works beautifully in Adobe programs and Inkscape for retro band merchandise designs, vintage poster layouts, zine covers, and nostalgic album artwork where that hand-drawn imperfection is actually the whole point. The OpenType-SVG color format delivers true color rendering rather than fake workarounds. Worth noting: Cricut users will need to export this as a raster image since the program doesn't support this font format natively, but you'll find it works smoothly everywhere else.

The quirky charm makes it perfect for projects that prioritize fun and personality over corporate polish. Nostalgic branding projects, alternative band graphics, funky greeting cards, or any design that refuses to take itself too seriously will shine with this typeface. Get Bask in Sunshine on Creative Fabrica and let its retro energy bring that authentic hand-drawn flavor to your next project.
