Background by ABBAsalam is a handwritten script that merges casual personality with genuine refinement. The flowing letterforms and steady baseline work confidently across different design challenges without needing heavy-handed styling to land well. The pen-like strokes deliver honest handmade qualities while maintaining legibility at any scale across both headlines and body text. Small connection details and the natural rhythm between letters create a cohesive visual voice that feels authentically drawn rather than mathematically constructed.

This typeface excels for wedding invitation suites that need contemporary charm, luxury cosmetics and skincare packaging that demands visual polish, boutique business cards and stationery reflecting genuine personality, and teacher classroom materials where warmth really matters. Consistent execution across letterforms delivers a unified aesthetic for brand identity, product labels, and other projects needing authentic character. Beyond typical decorative script use, this typeface proves surprisingly practical for real-world applications where legibility and personality both count.

What sets Background apart is how it sidesteps that precious, overly decorated aesthetic that limits many handwritten typefaces. Instead, it lands on something that reads as thoughtfully chosen rather than ornamental. Each letter maintains enough distinctive personality to feel genuine while staying readable in actual use.
