Asteria brings together hand-drawn letterforms with a warm, approachable character that feels both spontaneous and deliberately crafted. Heypentype designed this color font to capture playfulness without losing authenticity, creating something that works equally well for whimsical projects and everyday applications where personality matters.

The handwritten quality shines through in children's book illustrations, Easter egg decoration designs, and birthday party invitation suites. You'll find it equally at home on gift tag labels, DIY craft project signs, and Valentine's card layouts where a friendly touch makes the difference. The brushy texture invites interaction and feels handmade in the best way. As a color font built on OpenType-SVG format, Asteria works in Photoshop, Illustrator, Silhouette, and Inkscape, giving you flexibility across your creative toolkit. The OTF and TTF versions are not compatible with Cricut, so if you're planning to cut this font, check our guides for alternatives and workarounds.

This is the font for anyone creating work aimed at kids or working on seasonal crafts and celebrations. It brings genuine joy to school materials, craft projects, and festive packaging without feeling forced or overly cute. Pick it up on Creative Fabrica and start adding character to your next project.
