Artelis, created by lyanatha, is a flowing script with generous curves and natural pen-like strokes that feel genuinely handwritten without becoming chunky or difficult to read at smaller sizes. The letterforms carry contemporary elegance (think modern calligraphy rather than vintage flourish). It scales beautifully from display applications down to labels and packaging.

This script excels in contexts where refinement signals quality and attention. Wedding invitation suites immediately benefit from its movement and fluid character. High-end product labels for cosmetics, artisanal skincare, and luxury goods all gain presence when set in Artelis. Brand identity work, especially for boutique or independent businesses, finds a natural voice here. The included swashes give you ornamental options without forcing them on every letter, which means you can dial up the flourish for decorative elements or keep things minimal for longer text in printed designs.

Artelis includes extended character coverage, so you're not limited to single-language projects. Freelancers positioning themselves as hand-lettering specialists, small business owners printing custom packaging for Etsy shop launches, and design agencies building cohesive identities for upmarket clients all find it genuinely useful.
