Picture designing a 1970s-inspired beer label or a vintage sports poster. Aronica by Typia Nesia is a slab serif that carries the chunky, confident look of decades past while feeling fresh enough for contemporary brands. The font's bold geometry and slightly rounded serifs give it real character without veering into parody. It sits somewhere between genuine retro and modern playfulness, which means it works just as well on a contemporary brand refresh as it does on something deliberately nostalgia-driven. There's nothing stiff about it, either.

This is the kind of typeface that works beautifully on coffee shop menus, indie game title screens, and boutique beverage packaging where vintage references anchor the brand story. Podcast cover artwork, band logos, and editorial feature spreads all benefit from its confident presence. Etsy product packaging, craft beer labels, and vinyl record sleeves are natural homes for this weight. The proportions read clearly at large sizes, making it ideal for poster headlines and packaging labels where legibility matters as much as personality. You'll find the boldness keeps things from feeling delicate or fussy. It commands attention without shouting.

Grab Aronica on Creative Fabrica and you'll have a slab serif that feels vintage without trying too hard.
