You're designing a baby shower invitation and need something warm without being saccharine. Animals with Heart, created by Nongyao, is a dingbat font where each character is a small animal holding a heart. The collection includes bears to bunnies, rendered in a playful cartoon style that works across greeting card suites, baby shower invitations, children's book illustrations, and nursery decor projects.

As a dingbat font, it functions like a specialized symbol set, where each keystroke produces a complete character image rather than individual letters. This makes it ideal for designers who need quick, cohesive illustrations without sourcing multiple clip art files. The characters work at any size, though they're most effective when used large on book covers or party invitations.

What makes this font practical is its coloring outline capability. In Affinity Designer, Affinity Photo, or Procreate, you can expand outlines and add custom colors that match your palette. The font comes in OTF and TTF formats, so compatibility isn't a concern. It works well for greeting cards, banners, and children's event materials. You'll have enough character variety to avoid repetition. Find Animals with Heart on Creative Fabrica.
