This script carries that breezy, contemporary elegance that stops scrollers mid-feed. Amsterdam, designed by erik studio, is a handwritten script that balances playfulness with careful refinement, feeling equally at home on a fashion brand's Instagram stories as it is gracing the cover of a custom wedding invitation suite.

The smooth, flowing letterforms are built to work beautifully across several concrete applications: boutique lifestyle brand identity design, hand-lettered greeting card suites, custom logo work for fashion labels, and social media graphics for beauty and wellness brands. Its friendly personality reads modern and approachable without tipping into saccharine territory, giving it genuine range to speak to both younger audiences and design-conscious clients seeking a more contemporary take on calligraphy rather than something formal or overtly ornamental. The typeface includes a full set of glyphs and alternates, letting you layer in extra personality through headlines and accent text. On Instagram or in print, it carries enough personality to hold attention while remaining professional enough for upscale clients.

Pair Amsterdam with a clean, minimal sans-serif like Open Sans or Montserrat for body copy, and you'll establish a design system that feels both intentional and polished. Grab it on Creative Fabrica and start incorporating it into your next creative project.
