You're sketching out a vintage travel poster or designing a craft brewery label, and you need a typeface with real character. Aidah, from Arterfak Project, is a slab-serif that carries confidence and history in every letter. The three included styles give you options for composition and hierarchy, letting you layer weights or switch between them across a project. For editorial headlines in indie magazines, artisanal product packaging, wedding invitation suites, and retro vinyl album artwork, Aidah grounds everything with personality. The letterforms have enough weight to command attention at large sizes, and they read clearly in tight spacing too. You get uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and standard punctuation in both OTF and TTF formats, so there's flexibility in your workflow.

What makes this typeface work is its restraint. The slab serifs feel intentional rather than decorative, which means it pairs well with simpler typefaces and doesn't overwhelm quieter design elements. The heavier weights are especially useful when you need text to anchor a layout, while the lighter options let you set body copy or supporting information without losing the slab-serif character. It's a working typeface for people who care about type. Find Aidah on Creative Fabrica and add it to your library.
