Nori feels like watching calligraphy breathe across the page. Created by Positype, this hand-lettered typeface draws from six months of deliberate, meticulous work with a brush, capturing the organic warmth of real ink on paper in every stroke.

The technical foundation is generous: over 1,100 glyphs, 250 ligatures, 487 alternates, and 125+ swash and titling variations give you tremendous flexibility for composition and expression. Those extras aren't decoration, they let you build words with the natural variation someone working by hand might achieve, letter by letter. The texture is real, pulled directly from brush strokes and never flattened into sterile precision. Every quirk and weight shift is intentional, part of what makes this typeface feel so authentically handmade.

This typeface works beautifully for wedding invitation suites where personality matters, artisanal product packaging that needs warmth and character, event branding that deserves to feel thoughtfully crafted, and editorial headers that call for depth beyond what standard fonts can deliver. The script flows with enough variation that repetition never looks dull or mechanical. Pair Nori with a clean, neutral sans-serif for body text or secondary elements to balance its richness and let both shine. Find it on Creative Fabrica and see what unfolds.
