DOBILAS (Clover)
Typeface Dobilas was born with a purchase of new Molotow transformer marker. At first is was just sketches for my personal
logo, but soon I came up with an idea to make an initial letters for
portfolio chapters. After making few needed glyphs I’ve decided to
make a set of extended Latin, Cyrillic and Greek alphabets. This typeface was designed on the basis of Apple command button and two more conditions. First and main condition was to have vertical and horizontal styrokes, well rounded, same weight with 90° degree angle corners. The second condition was to build glyph share from only one continous line or having two separate shapes. The entire font has 3 weights - lean, stock and fed. Typeface Dobilas best fits for initials, monogramic style logo of title case. It only has caps, numbers and sentence punctuation. 2010
