Derriey Vignettes Family by Intellecta Design is a collection of ornamental dingbats rooted in 19th-century French typography and foundry craft. The set brings together digitized ornaments and fleurons from Charles Derriey's original foundry catalog, combined with contemporary interpretations that expand on his aesthetic and creative vision. Derriey himself was a renowned typefounder and punchcutter working in Paris from the 1800s, earning lasting recognition for the intricate, refined quality of his decorative elements.

This family works beautifully for wedding invitation suites, luxury cosmetics and skincare packaging, vintage-inspired postcard and greeting card designs, and ornamental book chapter headers. You get a rich palette of flourishes, borders, scrollwork, and embellishments that function both as frames for your typography and as standalone design elements. The pieces carry a strong sense of craftsmanship that feels earned rather than algorithmic, which matters when you're trying to convey elegance, heritage, or refined taste in your design work. Each ornament retains the hand-drawn quality that made Derriey's original work distinctive.

Whether you're building delicate stationery systems or adding refined typographic polish to boutique branding projects, these ornaments deliver both historical authenticity and contemporary design sensibility.
