This typeface brings instant visual personality and playful refinement to any project that needs ornamental flair and distinctive character. Catrina, designed by Latinotype, masterfully combines geometric clarity with organic curves that feel like they were made to complement each other naturally. The family is remarkably comprehensive: six weights ranging from Thin to Black, a Handmade version that adds casual warmth and organic texture, and a full set of dingbat and catchword characters that expand its creative possibilities significantly.

These ornamental marks work beautifully across many applications. Picture using Catrina for packaging embellishments on artisanal beauty products and gourmet labels, decorative branding elements on business cards and stationery suites, ornamental chapter dividers and header flourishes in editorial and book design, and festive embellishments for wedding invitations and event materials. The range of weights means you can layer multiple characters for visual depth and richness, or dial back to a single weight for a cleaner, more restrained look depending on what your design requires. This flexibility makes it a genuinely useful tool in your library.

When you need body text, pair Catrina's marks with a simple, neutral sans-serif to keep everything readable while letting the ornamental personality take center stage where it belongs. Get the full collection on Creative Fabrica.
