1 / 10About Assemblage Font
This typeface carries the weight and refinement of classical architecture translated into contemporary practice. Assemblage, designed by Daniel Hernández, Alfonso GarcÃa, Bruno Jara Ahumada, and Luciano Vergara at Latinotype, draws inspiration from Roman square capitals while offering the flexibility of six distinct weights.
Six weights spanning Thin to Black give you options across different compositional needs. Wine label suites benefit from precise weight variation, luxury cosmetics packaging demands the sophistication the italic version delivers, boutique retail signage shines with its presence, and editorial layouts gain depth from layering multiple weights across a page. Inspired by Elzeverian and Dutch Baroque precedents, the italic introduces decorative swashes and ending forms that work particularly well for branded collateral and high-end product packaging. A curated dingbat set rounds out the family, designed specifically for packaging decoration and publishing embellishments.
Character count reaches 979 for the Sans version and 620 for the Italic, with both supporting 212 languages across extended OpenType features (ligatures, three sets of ornamental small caps in Sans, semi-oldstyle figures, swashes, and extensive alternates). For layouts where Assemblage takes the lead, pair it with a muted serif or clean geometric sans as supporting text. Grab it from Creative Fabrica when you're ready to build with real structural intention.
