This quirky serif has real personality, the kind that makes a design feel handmade rather than corporate. Amadi, designed by Craft Supply Co., brings playful character to serif letterforms without abandoning the tradition entirely. The typeface bends the rules of classic serifs through unexpected angles and curved details that feel intentional yet slightly imperfect, like calligraphy drawn by someone genuinely enjoying the process.

You'll find Amadi works beautifully for elegant wedding invitation suites where couples want something that feels human-centered and thoughtful. It pairs wonderfully with indie bookplate designs, Etsy product labels for small craft businesses, and vintage-inspired event programs that need genuine personality. The irregular flow of the letters gives everything a handcrafted quality that readers respond to, even in digital contexts. This particular character makes Amadi especially suited for DIY craft signage and greeting card collections where the style becomes part of the brand identity.

Because of its distinctly decorative nature, Amadi shines brightest when paired with a simple, geometric sans-serif for any body text or supporting elements. That contrast keeps designs readable while letting the personality come through without distraction. You can find Amadi on Creative Fabrica and start experimenting with how its quirk transforms your next project.
