This collection evokes the sophisticated ornamentation of early 20th-century European printing. AllerleiZierat by Intellecta Design draws from a 1902 specimen book by Schelter & Giesecke, the renowned Leipzig type foundry, bringing four complete ornament sets and decorative capitals to contemporary design.

The source was a masterwork of applied decoration, featuring borders, flourishes, botanical elements, animals, silhouettes, and classical figures across traditional and Jugenstil aesthetics. Intellecta Design's research-based interpretation captures this historical richness while remaining immediately practical. The collection shines for specific, demanding applications: wedding invitation suites with period-accurate ornamentation, upscale menu card designs, vintage greeting card layouts, and ornamental certificate borders that feel genuinely antiquarian rather than derivative. Botanical motifs retain authentic character, heraldic elements read as historically grounded, and classical silhouettes function as confident focal points without overwhelming the page.

Because the four ornament sets work independently, you control composition carefully, layering elements where they serve the design or using them as standalone marks. Pair this with a clean, measured serif or a restrained sans-serif to give the ornaments room to breathe and anchor your visual hierarchy. Find AllerleiZierat on Creative Fabrica when you need historical weight in your typography.
