Thulu is a slab serif typeface designed by lerima with substantial, confident letterforms that give layouts real visual presence and weight. The blocky serifs and solid construction make it ideal for work that needs to command immediate attention without feeling stuffy or locked into the past. It's the kind of typeface that knows its role and owns it.

You'll find Thulu working beautifully when anchoring editorial headlines in print magazines and across book covers, bringing quiet authority to luxury skincare packaging and indie cosmetics labels, strengthening advertising campaigns that demand both substance and visual punch, and grounding restaurant menus and high-end hospitality branding. The typeface flows naturally between display sizes and handles body copy with solid legibility, giving designers genuine flexibility to work across varied composition challenges and layout needs. Its comprehensive multilingual character set means global projects and international brands get consistent typographic voice across different writing systems and languages without any compromise or loss of character.

Thulu works best for designers and independent brands seeking a slab serif that reads as thoroughly modern rather than vintage-inspired, one that projects genuine confidence without any aggressive edge. You can find it on Creative Fabrica and add it to your active working font library.
