The Wanted by Kenrichi is a slab-serif typeface steeped in noir atmosphere and typewriter character. Its slightly rough, ink-stained texture and angular serifs recall the mechanical impact of manual type striking paper, giving designs that unmistakable mid-century gravitas and authenticity. The letterforms carry visible hints of irregularity and wear, the kind of detail that reads instantly as genuinely historical without feeling forced or artificially distressed.

This typeface shines on vintage book jackets, mystery novel covers, and case file aesthetics. Use it for wanted poster designs, noir film packaging, or the masthead of a retro investigative publication. Packaging for artisanal spirits and aged whiskey labels work beautifully here, as do gritty branding projects for detective agencies or true crime podcast artwork. Even a set of business cards for a vintage bookshop or antique dealer will carry exactly the right weight and period mood.

The slab serifs sit firm on the baseline, anchoring any layout with a sense of authority and depth. If you're drawn to typefaces that lean into storytelling through visual texture rather than trendy geometry, The Wanted delivers that sensibility without apology. Pull it from Creative Fabrica and start building designs with the kind of noir backbone that makes viewers sit up and notice.
