1 / 5About Sanpitch Font
Sanpitch is a distinctive display typeface that began five years ago as a hand-drawn magazine headline. Over time, as I periodically worked on it, the typeface gradually transformed into something entirely different. The final version is a type family with four weights, each a little different from the others.
The fonts use OpenType features, including alternate characters and automatic fractions. If your graphics program supports OpenType features, such as Adobe and Affinity software, Sanpitch will automatically replace awkward glyph pairs with more visually appealing alternatives. Of course, you can disable this feature or choose your own options in your software.
The type family supports all Western and Central European languages, with thousands of kerning pairs to ensure proper spacing—even for unusual glyph combinations. I’ve invested significant effort into designing and creating this type family, but if you notice any issues, please don’t hesitate to contact me at Cory Maylett Design so I can address them.
