Patan is a slab-serif with genuine groovy character, the kind of typeface that bridges vintage printing traditions and contemporary design sensibilities. Created by febryan.satria1, this font captures that nostalgic 1970s warmth while keeping things clean and readable for actual layout work, not just sitting pretty as decoration. It's a working typeface with style and substance.

The thick, substantial serifs carry real charm when paired with the playful, hand-drawn sensibility throughout. It excels for vintage band posters, craft beer label designs, bohemian wedding invitations, and indie bookstore signage. The substantial weight commands attention without veering into overwrought territory, making it work equally well on printed packaging, social media graphics, or editorial spreads where retro energy truly matters. There's enough personality here to feel genuinely special, but the proportions stay legible across applications and sizes, so readability never takes a back seat.

You'll want Patan if you're building retro-themed branding, event collateral with nostalgic flair, or simply looking to inject genuine 70s character into your design work. The font suits designers who truly value vintage aesthetics without compromising legibility and function. Grab it from Creative Fabrica and add it to your type library for all those retro-inspired projects waiting in your queue.
