Kapelka captures the flowing, organic quality of brush lettering, with letterforms that feel genuinely handwritten and casual rather than formal or rigid. Created by Zakhar Yaschin for ParaType in 2001, this script draws its personality from the playful, energetic aesthetic of vintage candy packaging, channeling the informal character of hand-drawn letters into a typeface that reads as approachable and human.

The font's relaxed, approachable style makes it genuinely suited to contexts where warmth and personality are essential to the message. Wedding invitation suites gain instant sophistication from Kapelka's flowing strokes, while artisanal product labels for small-batch cosmetics, craft beverages, or handmade confections benefit from its hand-crafted feel. Cafe menus and boutique signage look immediately inviting with this script, and the typeface also performs well on greeting cards, event posters, and packaging for local goods. Any branding project that needs to communicate authenticity and human touch finds a natural home in Kapelka's character.

This typeface works best for designers and makers who want their words to feel like they were drawn by hand, not generated by algorithm. It's perfect for anyone building a brand that values warmth over polish, handmade over mass-produced. Find Kapelka on Creative Fabrica and bring a genuine script touch to your next design.
