Doughty by Human Design is a modern slab serif with a clean, unfussy personality. Built on geometric principles but softened with friendly proportions, it strikes the balance that works for both editorial headlines and functional branding. Light and Bold weights ship with the typeface, giving you the flexibility to shift visual emphasis across a design without hunting for a secondary font.

This typeface is built for real work. Tech startup websites use it for hero headlines, independent breweries put it on labels and packaging, and contemporary restaurants build entire visual systems around it. Cosmetics brands find its confident neutrality ideal for premium packaging, while bookstore displays and minimalist wedding stationery both benefit from its geometric warmth. Sturdy enough to work at small sizes in body text, it really shines on podcast cover art, retail signage, or restaurant menus where its modern simplicity actually earns attention.

What makes Doughty smart is that it works equally well on screen and in print, so you're not buying a one-trick typeface. It carries the kind of understated strength that makes other design choices feel more intentional. Get it on Creative Fabrica and start using a typeface that actually belongs in your projects.
