Picture a skateboarder designing their band's first poster or a student hand-lettering a zine cover late at night. College Dropout by Good Gravy Type captures that exact spirit: a hand-sketched slab-serif that feels loose, playful, and genuinely irreverent. The letterforms have an organic quality that skips the polish of commercial typefaces, channeling instead the visual energy of doodles, margins, and found scribbles.

This font thrives in contexts where authentic character trumps perfection. Vintage college merchandise, indie music branding, skateboard and streetwear graphics, DIY zine covers, and retro record store signage all benefit tremendously from its casual confidence. The sketch-like quality gives each letter real character without veering into novelty territory. When set at display sizes, the letterforms really sing, each one carrying just enough imperfection to feel human and lived-in. There's no false polish here, just honest visual weight and proportion.

Good Gravy Type has created a typeface that works as naturally on a concert flyer as on embroidered merch tags or streetwear branding. The hand-sketched nature means no two impressions feel identical, and that's exactly the point: every application feels fresh and unrepeatable. Grab College Dropout from Creative Fabrica and bring some rough-around-the-edges visual energy to your next project.
