A designer sits down to sketch packaging for a luxury home fragrance line, and reaches for Beaga by alvarothomazoliveira. This geometric slab-serif has the confidence of a modern typeface paired with the warmth that makes people want to hold a box in their hands. The clean proportions read beautifully across scales, from large display headlines down to ingredient lists that don't feel cramped.

Beaga works hard on projects where legibility matters as much as personality. Think high-end wine labels where you want sophistication without fussiness, or wedding invitation suites where guests expect refinement. Small-batch candle branding, interior design signage, and specialty jewelry packaging all benefit from its geometric foundation. The family includes multiple weights, giving you flexibility whether you're setting headlines or body text without switching typefaces.

What makes this slab-serif different is the balance between neutral geometry and readable warmth. It doesn't feel cold or mechanical, which matters when your brand needs to feel human. At large sizes it maintains its crisp character; at text sizes it stays open and inviting. If you're building a design system for a boutique brand, Beaga gives you the range and personality you need.
